THE STORY BEHIND THE RÉSUMÉ

Performance has always
started with people.

A leadership lesson that stayed with me: organizations often pay for a person’s hands while failing to engage the full value of their thinking.— Inspired by Jack Welch and Suzy Welch, Winning

I grew up in New Orleans around healthcare, hard work and people leadership. My mother’s role in orthopedic medical education gave me unusual early access to medicine—from health-career education at McMain Magnet to observing orthopedic surgery. I entered college pre-med, completed orthotics and prosthetics internships, and eventually chose exercise physiology as the place where science, performance and helping people converged.

Athletics taught me discipline. Building orthotic devices and later managing rehabilitation in a pain-management setting made science practical. Exercise physiology taught me how systems adapt. Teaching undergraduate students—and later certified fitness professionals and healthcare audiences nationally—taught me that expertise only matters if you can help someone else understand and use it.

That clinical literacy followed me into business. It has helped me work across the table from CMOs, clinical operations leaders, NPs and other healthcare stakeholders—connecting clinical credibility with customer strategy, commercialization and enterprise growth.

That thread followed me from human performance into corporate wellness, multi-site operations, entrepreneurship, healthcare, enterprise growth and transformation. The titles changed. The underlying question did not: How do we create an environment where people and systems perform better together?

My career has not been linear. Some of the most important chapters came from setbacks, reinvention and choosing to build new capability instead of defending an old identity.

CAREER EVOLUTION

One career.
A widening lens.

01
FOUNDATION

New Orleans · Healthcare · Human Performance

Early exposure to orthopedic medicine, health-career education, pre-med study, athletics and applied clinical science shaped a lifelong bias toward learning, discipline and human performance.

02
HUMAN PERFORMANCE

Exercise Physiology · Rehabilitation · Education

Pain-management rehabilitation, exercise physiology, adjunct teaching and national continuing-education instruction taught me to translate complex science into practical decisions—and reinforced that performance starts with people.

03
OPERATING LEADERSHIP

J&J → Multi-Site Operations

Corporate wellness and multi-unit leadership expanded the lens from individual performance to teams, economics, customer experience and operating systems.

04
ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Building & Reinvention

Entrepreneurship sharpened resourcefulness and resilience. Returning to enterprise leadership required intentional repositioning, an MBA and a willingness to keep rebuilding.

05
ENTERPRISE GROWTH

Healthcare & Commercial Leadership

Healthcare operations evolved into enterprise growth leadership across employers, consultants, health plans and strategic partners—connecting strategy to measurable outcomes.

06
TRANSFORMATION

Growth + Technology

Today my focus is broader: building organizations where growth, people, operating discipline and technology reinforce one another.

HOW I LEAD

Strategy becomes real
through operating behavior.

01

People before process

Systems matter. They work only when people understand the why, own the outcome and have room to exercise judgment.

02

Clarity creates speed

Ambiguity taxes organizations. Clear priorities, roles, decision rights and measures create responsible velocity.

03

Growth is a system

Predictable growth comes from architecture: market choice, value proposition, channels, talent, cadence, data and accountability.

04

Technology should multiply judgment

AI is most valuable when it removes friction, surfaces signal and gives people more capacity for consequential work.

“We have roles. We have a goal. My responsibility as a leader is to create clarity, guide the team and be willing to do the work alongside them.”— Kyle L. Anderson

OPPORTUNITY THESIS

Building, transforming and scaling
businesses where growth, people
and technology
intersect.

I’m most interested in consequential situations where growth has become harder, operating complexity is increasing, technology is changing how work gets done, or an organization needs stronger alignment between strategy and execution. The vehicle may be C-suite leadership, board/advisory service, fractional work, a defined transformation project, strategic partnership or speaking engagement.
